  • Rutgers University recognizes EIKEN

    Candidates with Grade Pre-1 certificates may now use their EIKEN results when applying for graduate and undergraduate degree programs at Rutgers University. Rutgers, a member of the prestigious Association of American Universities (AAU), is the State University of New Jersey and one of America's leading comprehensive public research institutions. Rutgers joins more than 350 U.S. colleges and universities recognizing EIKEN as satisfying the English-language proficiency requirement for international admissions.


  • University of Michigan-Flint recognizes EIKEN

    Examinees with Grade Pre-1 certificates may now use their EIKEN results when applying for undergraduate degree programs at the University of Michigan-Flint. UM-Flint is one of the three campuses of the internationally-renowned University of Michigan system. Click here for the complete list of schools recognizing EIKEN.


  • IELTS invigilators needed

    IELTS invigilators/supervisors  are needed for Tokyo and Kanagawa.  The job would suit someone who is interested in part-time weekend work with a chance to use English.  Please check the employment page  for details.


  • EIKEN recognized for UC Berkeley Summer Sessions

    The University of California (UC) Berkeley now accepts EIKEN Grade Pre-1 to fulfill the English proficiency requirement for admission to Summer Sessions. UC Berkeley Summer Sessions offers over 600 courses each year between May and August, in a wide variety of disciplines. Approximately 15,000 students attend UC Berkeley in the summer, and nearly 3,750 are visitors (non-UC Berkeley students). Enrollment in courses and applications for programs opens in February.
